Welcome to R-BAR's Government Affairs Homepage!
This is the section of R-BAR's website that will help you take action on issues that are important to you either as a professional REALTOR® or consumer of real estate. The Government Affairs program was founded upon the principle that active involvement in the political and legislative arena is an inherent responsibility of all citizens and industry. Further, our members recognize that our collective strength, working in unison, is far more effective than the efforts of a single individual. Through interaction with public officials, political organizations, community groups and other interested parties, R-BAR staff and REALTOR® volunteers work to ensure that public policy decisions are fair to the real estate industry and the consumers it serves.

Sign OrdinancesEngage in Government Affairs discussions at YOUR office meeting! I extend my availability to those who would like me to speak at an office meeting. I have been asked to speak at a variety of offices, and I have found these office meetings to be quite productive. These meetings will allow you to address any questions, concerns, or issues that involve government affairs in your industry. On average, I take a few moments to discuss recent progress made at the local, state, and federal levels. I then briefly discuss the importance of
legislative advocacy,
becoming involved, and
investing in RPAC. Speaking at these meetings allows me the ability to understand what issues are affecting REALTORS®. The time taken to discuss government affairs benefits not only you and your agents, but also your clients. If you’re interested in discussing government affairs at an office meeting, please call or email me.
