Inspection Requirements: |
A Property Transfer Inspection is required for all properties being sold in the Township of Muhlenberg. All forms can be picked up at the Township Engineering Office at 5401 Leesport Avenue, Temple, PA or downloaded from our web site at www.muhlenbergtwp.com prior to inspection. All forms must be completed by the applicant and returned along with all required fees to the township engineering department, Attn: Marcy Heere, Administrative Assistant, and prior to scheduling inspections. Fees at this time are $100.00 for Single Family Dwellings, and $75.00 for each Multi-Family Unit, this includes the Certificate of Occupancy. After the completed form and fees are received, you will be contacted by Motley Associates with an inspection date and time. ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO MOTLEY ASSOCIATES AT (610) 775-0888, NOT THE TOWNSHIP OFFICE. After inspections are completed and all required repairs are made, a Use and Occupancy Permit will be issued. |
