REALTOR Emeritus: This designation is awarded in recogition of vaulable and lasting contributions to the real estate community to any person who has held membership in the National Association as a REALTOR, REALTOR-Associate or a combination of both, for a cumulative period of 40 years in one or more Associations of REALTORS. Upon approval by the Board of Directors of the National Association of REALTORS, no further payment of dues are necessary to your national, state and local Associations. Applications must be submitted to your local Association by April 1st of each year.
Scholarship Award: The scholarship fund was established to recognize outstanding graduating seniors from Berks County high schools. It was established in memory of two prominent leaders in the Berks County real estate community who left a major imprint on their profession, Herbert Bellairs and Christos Vardaxis, Jr. through the Community Foundation in 2003. The following applications will be reviewed and winners determined by the Executive Committee. These awards will be presented at the January Inaugural Celebration. Deadline is the end of October for all submissions.
REALTOR of the Year: The REALTOR® of the Year recognizes the best in REALTOR® spirit, business accomplishments, commitment and involvement in the REALTOR® Association, and participation in civic and community affairs. Nominate yourself or a REALTOR® member whom you feel meets the criteria. Nominees should complete the application personally, if possible.
Affilite of the Year: The Affiliate of the Year recognizes the best in Affiliate spirit, business accomplishments, commitment and involvement in the REALTOR Association and the community. Nominate yourself, another associate or Affiliate whom you feel meets the criteria. Nominees should complete the application personally, if possible.
Grow With Berks Award: The Grow With Berks Award recognizes a member of the Berks County community who has given time and service that contributes to the social, cultural and/or economic growth of Berks County. All applications need to be submitted to the Association Office by the October deadline.
