We will be visiting the 55+ community development in Amity Township that utilized the Tax Increment Financing (TIF) with that assistance of Berks IDA. The Amity project is extremely notable and relevant because it demonstrates what can happen in a community when multiple decision making partners come together and think outside of the box. If you are truly interested in seeing Berks County grow, projects like this one are going to be essential to our future. 

Like last year’s visit to the Glidden Site, CIC attendees of the Amity Site Visit may also be eligible to get a complimentary ticket to CIC’s Summer Social at the R-Phil’s on August 13^th. Tickets for that event are limited, and you must attend the site visit as well.
