Every time you tell the public you are a REALTOR® you tell them you subscribe to a strict Code of Ethics, you are a member of the largest trade association in the U.S., and you are informed about issues that affect real estate business. That’s a lot of mileage from one trademark!

2021 DUES Installment Plan Sign-up Form - If you'd like to pay your 2021 Dues in a 4-month installment plan, please complete the form and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org by Thursday, October 22, 2020. All forms received will get a reply confirmation that it has been received. Also, members will receive a receipt every time their credit card is charged.
Primary REALTOR® Memberships
REALTOR® Office/DR Application: Click on this application to register both the firm and the Designated REALTOR® (Broker of Record). There is a one-time application fee of $500.00 for a new office. Each designated REALTOR® will also be responsible for his/her individual membership dues. For annual dues, see the Pro-Rated Dues Schedule.
REALTOR® Application: Click on this application to join as a REALTOR® member. The firm you are affiliated with must already be either a primary or secondary member. There is a one-time application fee of $275.00 provided you do not escrow for longer than one year in a single instance. For annual dues, see the Pro-Rated Dues Schedule. Any licensee who has never been a Realtor in Pennsylvania before will be required to pay the New Member Capital Investment Fee of $100 as of January 1, 2017. No member will be required to pay this fee more than once.
Transfer/Reactivation Notice Form: Click on this application if you are transferring from one existing member firm to another existing member firm or if you had escrowed your license and would like to reactivate. If the license has been inactive for less than 5 years, it may be reactivated using at least 14 hours of Commission-approved continuing education that is not more than 2 years old. If the license has been inactive for more than 5 years, the licensee must re-test instead of providing the continuing education. The fee is determined by the length of time your license was in escrow. It is $25.00 for anyone transferring offices or whose license was in escrow no longer than one year. It is $150.00 for anyone whose license was in escrow from one to five years. For anyone over five years, a new application must be completed and the full application fee applies.
REALTOR® Transferring from Another Association: Click on this application if you are already a REALTOR® member of NAR and want to transfer to our Association. There is a one-time application fee of $25.00 to transfer to our association. For annual dues, see the Pro-Rated Dues Schedule. Please include on the application the name of the Association you have been a member of and your NRDS number, if known.
Secondary REALTOR® Membership
REALTOR® Office/Secondary DR Application: Click on this application if your firm is a member of another local association and the office would like to join our Association as a Secondary member. There is a one-time application fee of $150.00 for the Office/Secondary DR. For annual dues, see the Pro-Rated Dues Schedule.
Affiliate Partner Membership
Affiliate Application: If you are a business related to the Real Estate industry such as a lender, home inspection company or title company, etc. joining our Association as an Affiliate Member has many benefits for your business. For annual dues, see the Pro-Rated Dues Schedule found at the top of this page. Affiliate members can increase their support of our Association and choose to be a Tier Sponsor for 2021, For more details on our Affiliate and Sponsorship Program and Benefits: CLICK HERE for information.

Builder / Remodeler Membership
Builder / Remodeler Application: Any primary representative of a business or legal entity who is in the business of, or employed by, a firm whose business is: building, remodeling, or trade contracting of: homes, apartments, schools, commercial, industrial, other structures, or in land development, shall be eligible to be a Builder/Remodeler Member. In order to qualify under this category, the business must register and obtain a certificate of Registration as a contractor, issued by the Bureau of Consumer Protection (BCP), which contains a registration number assigned by the Bureau of Consumer Protection (BCP). Said registration number needs to be provided to the Board of Directors. If, at any time, the business fails to register or loses its Certificate of Registration, it will no longer qualify for builder/remodeler membership.
Commercial & Industrial Council (CIC) Membership
The Commercial & Industrial Council (CIC), which has been a formal committee of the Association since 1994, has enjoyed a dynamic and active growth over the years. Its purpose is to “provide for the education, exchange of information, mutual cooperation and fellowship of those REALTORS® engaged in buying, selling, leasing, exchanging, managing and appraising land and buildings to general industry, business and commerce.” Meetings of the CIC are held monthly. Only dues-paying Regular Members and Affiliate Members of CIC and invited guests may attend these meetings.
Membership in the CIC shall be available to those persons who are Reading-Berks Association of Realtors (R-BAR) Regular Members, Affiliate Members or CIC-Only Affiliate Members. CIC Regular Members are those persons who are members in good standing with the National Association of REALTORS (NAR), and R-BAR, or another Board/Association of their choice who support the purposes of the CIC. They also must indicate a desire to join the CIC and pay dues annually in such amount as shall be recommended by CIC and approved by the Board of Directors of R-BAR. R-BAR Affiliate Members of the CIC shall consist of persons who are Affiliate Members in good standing with R-BAR. These Affiliate Members are persons who have an interest in the industrial, commercial and investment segments of the real estate field and pay dues annually in such amount as shall be determined by the Board of directors at R-BAR. CIC-Only Affiliate Members are solely members of the Commercial & Industrial Council and shall not be entitled to the benefits of membership of R-BAR and who pay dues annually in such amount as shall be recommended by CIC and approved by the Board of Directors of R-BAR.

CIC Association Member Application: Click on this application if you are a current Realtor member of R-BAR or another Board/Association who support the purposes of the CIC, or, if you are a current Affiliate member of R-BAR. The membership dues are $35.00 and are not pro-rated during the calendar year.
CIC-Only Affiliate Application: Click on this application if you are an affiliate who wants to join the CIC only. Please note that this membership is for the CIC Only and you shall not be entitled to the benefits of membership of R-BAR. The membership dues are $75.00 and are not pro-rated during the calendar year.
