The Reading-Berks Association of REALTORS® is a professional trade association serving the needs of nearly 1,000 REALTORS® across Berks County.
REALTORS® have a vested interest in policies, regulations, projects, and initiatives that affect the quality of life in each of our local communities. Schools, parks, infrastructure, crime, taxation, planning and zoning, economic development, and property rights are just a few of the issues governed that the local level that have a direct and very real impact on REALTORS®, homeowners, and the local real estate market.
Our members make voluntary contributions to the Reading-Berks Association of REALTORS® Political Action Committee (R-BAR PAC) to help elect leaders who are committed to implementing policies that will preserve and protect property rights, encourage homeownership, and improve the quality of life in our communities. In addition to financial support, R-BAR PAC offers public and internal endorsements, voter data, and other means of support.
R-BAR PAC is non-partisan and supports candidates regardless of party affiliation. Decisions to support candidates are made by R-BAR members serving as R-BAR PAC trustees (not staff). For more information on the candidate support process, see the links below.
